● Apparently Steve Ignorant is facing some trouble getting a passport, and has been forced to postpone the Crass sorta reunion.
● I finally updated The List, so now you can see any band that Ve has talked about thus far. Still waiting for the opportunity to give Ve a more massive overhaul so that the blog is firing on every cylinder.
● There’s an incredible 3-way split between Conga Fury, Votesek, and Chainsaw that you ought to give a listen if you like grind/powerviolence.
● Here’s an awesome and hilarious interview with Mama Yancey and Little Brother Montgomery done in 1982 (4 years before Yancey’s death, and 3 before Montgomery’s). They must have been such a kick to spend time with.
● Shortly before his death, Wesley Willis (pictured) was featured in a documentary called The Daddy Of Rock n’ Roll, which is now available to watch for free on youtube.
● The Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco is currently showing an exhibition on the influence of traditional Hebrew music on African American music. It might be interesting. I haven’t seen it yet.

‘Okay, but we have to make sure we really suck bad.’
● Pomplamoose, is a really great sounding band that is kind of annoying when they try to promote charity giving. What would you call this? Retro/indie? Traditional American pop revival? It doesn’t matter. They’re worth checking out.
● Check out this awesome instrument.
● This list of weird Christian music videos is pretty astounding. The Christian black metal band is probably the most normal one on the list. I like the flower pots turned into Devo hats.
● This man… Beautiful. I tear up a little.
