I always have to listen to bands with sentence-long names. Something about having a really long name always makes me curious to check out a band. Still, I didn’t have very high expectations for Russia’s Carrie White Burns In Hell. There’s so much lousy pseudo-grind crap coming out these days, and I figured with a name like theirs, that had to be what CWBIH was. I was pleasantly surprised to hear their album though. It’s pretty engaging and stays fresh and original from start to finish. Rad! Now I kind of wish they didn’t live halfway across the world so I could go check them out.
