MRR Free Box Review #13: Rations – For Victory

Photobucket

For Victory is amazingly okay. It never gets exceptionally bad, but it also never gets exceptionally good. It’s not unpleasant to listen to, but it’s no great thrill either. If you took every album ever made, and charted them from best to worst, For Victory would be right in the middle.

Most of the songs on here are short, and have a sort of belt-it-out take on the traditional pop-punk structure. It sort of sounds like if Morrissey reluctantly started singing for Broadway Calls. Check it out if you like either of those two artists, except maybe for Morrissey, because they sound a lot more like Broadway Calls.
