I actually contacted The Sexuous Master a few days ago about getting a picture for this post. He never responded. His wedding anniversary was recent, so he might have been busy with that.
The Sexuous Master was a studio-only project of Chris Roberts that delved into the most taboo and offensive subject matter possible. Pedophillia, necrophillia, rape, bestiality, racism, it’s all there. He began selling the CDs at his high school, and according to him, it was a lucrative business. When I met him, he’d just quit his job at Best Buy, after his boss found out about his music and severely reduced his hours. Along with juvenile and offensive rap songs, The Sexuous Master also did a number of somewhat interesting songs using found sounds or otherwise atypical sources. For example, he electronically created a song out of farts he recorded, and if memory serves me correctly it was somewhat engaging. Roberts has since dropped The Sexuous Master shtick, and has involved himself heavily in his current band, a progressive metal project called System 32. He told me a while ago that he’s planning on doing some more Sexuous Master stuff at some point in the future. I sort of hope it happens, because, while I don’t want to regulate where his creative energy takes him, there’s lots of prog metal bands out there, but honestly, I’ve never heard anything quite like The Sexuous Master.
Except for the freestyling that Brandon DiCamello did for the CKY movies that I liked back when I was in high school.
