I’m going to take a break from talking about good music for a bit here. Girlicious is a put together band for a television show called The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. The band became wildly popular in Canada for some reason, and they won all sorts of awards in Canada. Their Wikipedia page discusses ad nauseam an incident where one of the groups original four members (I can’t really tell them apart) left the band, because of personal problems as well as the band’s interest in a new musical direction. Girlicious is going to be putting out a new album soon, which is supposed to be more ‘pop’ and less ‘hip hop/r&b.’ In one sentence, Girlicious has managed to desecrate the concepts of three styles of music (granted, Girlicious doesn’t own the cornerstone on doing that). Anyway, here’s their music video for their song Stupid Shit. It’s pretty bad. The idea that acting wantonly and rebellious will allow you to hang out with beautiful women in schoolgirl outfits is misleading. Also, it is not true.
