I tried in vain to find any information about this rockabilly cat. I really like this boogie-woogie influenced song, but like so many small time bands from back in the day, Bobby Mizzell is severely lacking in Internet information. At the same time, his name comes up everywhere when you do a search for him. I did read about a Robert Mizzell who is a country singer in Ireland, but I’m about 99.9% sure the the two are NOT one and the same. If you know anything about this dude, please comment.

You rule! Thanks!
Bobby is living in California. I talk with him regularly. We played many “gigs” together and he played on every Record Session I did. Thanks for your concern and your appreciation of his talent.
Blessings,

Bobby “Fats” lives in the Indian Wells Valley, in the Mojave Desert. He performs annually in fundraisers at the Historic USO Building in Ridgecrest, and on occassion at b-weekly Open Mic Nite at the same venue. Still Great! Quite modest and approachable.
I just saw Bob Mizzell a couple of weeks ago. He is in California. I have posted numerous songs by him on youtube. Type in wayneogden and go to my channel. I have known him for 40 years now. He told me about playing with Rick Nelson before he died and he mentioned how humble Rick was. Bob is the humble one. I keep finding out things about him on the internet that he never told me. I ask him if it’s true and it always is. It’s an honor knowing him.
