The Gay Science

There’s actually a number of bands named The Gay Science. I’m talking about a power pop project from Olympia, WA that has probably broken up by this point. I had the extreme pleasure of seeing them once back in the day when they played in Chico, CA. They were wicked. This video, which is the only Internet presence of TGS that I can find, shows them in a more party happy mood. Their album is much more polished and impressive from that standpoint. Either way, they were kick butt and I will miss them.
