It’s always really cool when a really unorthodox band is able to be around for a relatively short amount of time, and in that time completely change the way a whole lot of people look at music. That’s certainly the way The Sex Pistols have been remembered, but perhaps a less legendary example would be Winnipeg, Manitoba band Swallowing Shit, who in their approximately three year existence were able to completely turn the Canadian punk scene on its head. The band recorded one 7 inch, and was banned from playing in their hometown because of the anti-church sentiment in the following song:
