When my mother first told me about Snoop Doggy Dogg’s visit to Yreka and the ensuing article as though it was big exciting news, I grew dismayed at how pathetic my hometown was. It’s big news that someone famous stops for groceries in your town? But after I read the article, I found it sort of cute and whimsical. Sure it’s uneventful up here in Siskiyou County, but the folks are great.
