Paleo is the one man project of David Andrew Strackany, who lives on the road and plays shows all the time. He’s a super nice, somewhat shy person, and his music is just stupefying. He sends out a monthly email newsletter in which he says what’s new with the band, and more often than not it includes an inspiring and beautiful little poetic cacophony. Also, I stole the picture of him from a website that interviewed him about his 365 song project. He wrote and recorded 365 songs in 365 days. He did one at a house I was living at in Chico, CA, which is pretty cool. You can see that here. Also, his website has an impressive log of information about his life on the road.
More recently, he has been shooting videos for his album, A New Day. This is the most recent one, Rivers Dry.
