I’m not huge into The Mamas & the Papas . I mean, they’re good and all, but other than California Dreaming, which is a really cool, really sad sounding tune, they’ve never super moved me.
Benny Benassi is an Italian techno dude who is considered one of the titans of the musical style. I don’t know a whole lot about him or his music, but in 2004 he remixed California Dreaming, and it’s pretty wicked badass.
