Beach Fossils

I’m not quite sure what to label these guys as, which is a good thing. Trying to fit every single musical note ever struck into a specific category is a stupid waste of time. They’re a calm, driving sort of band. They kind of remind me of a less psychadellic Index, though I imagine that’s not a good comparison, since Index is pretty damn obscure. At any rate, the music is kinda groovy, and kinda nice, and I didn’t include a picture of the band because they look sorta dorky. Besides, a Google search suggests that pitchfork is all over these guys, and I figure if pitchfork’s already talked about something, I’m not going to put too much effort into reiterating what they’ve said.
