Good evening gents! I wanted to post one of my favorite rare finds of the year, Bug by Optical 8. Now I’m a huge Otomo Yoshihide fan and while in LA earlier this year I found this CD, Bug, hidden among the avant garde japanese section. I got it at a really good price and the cover tripped me out.
This is 90′s Japanese noise rock at one of it’s finest and purest moments. It’s comparable to Ground Zero, Ruins, Boredoms, (everything I like is comparable to these actually…) I would want to directly relate it to Novo Tono but I’ll upload that another day.

In the last year or so I have discovered the fun and beauty of music blogs. This has introduced me to a billion new things that I didn’t know I would have enjoyed and have also saved me a bundle on music. Having said that, I think I might find myself re-posting posts that have already been posted. It’s just getting more new music to more ears, so whatever.
